I have used Perfect Cut several times in recent years and have always been very pleased with their work. The work was always done promptly, professionally and courteously. Several days ago John came to see me about what was a smaller job and I was stunned when he said he wouldn't charge me, no matter how much I insisted! He said that they value their customers.
The job has already been done, and cleaned up perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about a firm I have come to value and rely on completely. They will always get my business! Thank you John!

Perfect Cut Tree Service was absolutely wonderful to work with; we had a difficult situation in that a hundred-foot evergreen came down during a storm taking our stone wall with it. In order for the company who was to repair the wall to do their work, the evergreen had to be removed first. Perfect Cut came before their actual work was to begin in order to clear the evergreen so that the wall repair could begin. As soon as the wall was repaired, they went by our schedule rather than theirs, came back, and more than satisfactorally completed their job. I would give Perfect Cut Tree Service ten stars if I could! Oh, by the way, their prices are fantastic!

i used them 2 weeks ago to take down a huge tree between my neighbors house and mine.they took it down with a crane.there wasn't hardly a crease in my lawn.the next day another crew came and ground the stump down way below the dirt level. best tree service i have ever used in my 35 years in the county.you gotta be crazy to use anyone else.ps his price was the best -40-60% less than 2 other companies.

HORRIBLE. Don't use Perfect Cut if your trees are important to you. We hired them, on the advice of our landscaper, to trim our trees. The landscaper and my wife walked thru the property and gave detailed instructions to the Crew Chief. But the Crew Chief completely ignored / forgot (pick one) the instructions and butchered a gorgeous magnolia tree. Instead of trimming the branches where they hung over the sidewalk, the crew stupidly lopped them off at the trunk. They effectively destroyed a climbing tree that my kids grew up on. Perfect Cut expressed regret but did not take responsibility. They said "there's two sides to the story." No, there is not. No competent trimmer would ever, ever think it's appropriate to cut healthy branches off at the trunk instead of trimming the branches at the overhang spot. The fact is that Perfect Cut hires people who don't know how to do a job that requires skill and judgment. So if your job requires brute force like removing a tree that was downed in a storm, consider Perfect Cut. But if you want a trimmer crew that knows what they are doing, has the skills to do what's necessary, and will thoughtfully improve your trees, then you should hire someone else other than Perfect Cut Tree Trimming of Pomona.

Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else. Literally 30 unreturned phone calls over a 2 week period after written estimate provided to my wife by John in person. Finally a call back stating and I quote "the cost will be DRASTICALLY" higher than their written estimate - Tony. Speaking to Tony, also made clear that the job could not be started for "at least a MONTH". This business does not stand by their written estimates, does not return phone calls, classic BAIT AND SWITCH. Did not even have the decency to let us know perhaps after 10 unreturned phone calls that they did not want the job. Will report them to the BBB.We deal with contractors all the time doing renos and work to rental properties. Save yourself time and aggravation.

I had Perfect Cut and John clear my back yard of a dozen trees. They did the job professionally and efficiently in one day; utilizing the efforts of 5 men. They charged HALF of what anyone else wanted! I am thrilled with the finished product. Now I hired him to grind away all the stumps. John decided he wanted to dirt and level the yard afterwards; as a courtesy. TYTYTY

John is a perfect gentleman. I have done business him for years. Today 3-18-16 work was done as always a second to none job was done. I find it very easy to work with this company. They said 8:30 am they would arrive 8:10 there was a truck outside ready to work. ������������

Perfect cut tree service is truly a professional and outstanding company. We had three huge trees cut and they were close to the house, but perfect cut tree made sure our property would be safe, The workers are so accurate in what they are doing and they clean up any debris created by the job from the property. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I would not hesitate using them over and over.

This company does not care about their customers. I had them remove a large locust tree in my back yard. They had permission to put their crane on my neighbors driveway. This was due to the placement of the tree on my yard. During the process of removing the tree, the crane operator backed the crane into my neighbors one car garage and knocked it 6 inches off the foundation and made a 12 deep hole in the driveway. The owner of the perfect cut did not come to see the damage or apologize to my neighbor. He waited a month. The insurance that they have is bare minimum. The town building inspector said the garage needed to be torn down and rebuilt. The perfect cut insurance would not cover it. My neighbor had to use his own insurance.The manager of the tree company also promised to fix the hole in the driveway. It has been over a year and still nothing. The owner of the perfect cut has not done anything to make the situation right. All the perfect cut cares about is getting paid. They do not care about the damage they cause. Do not trust them. There are plenty of other tree companies to use in the area to use.

If you are looking for a tree service with reliability, honesty and especially knowledge, you have found the right business. Being a new home owner, I had concerns about a large oak tree that a large branch fall striking and damaging my patio. I immediately called a few tree services for an estimate and opinion. I was extremely impressed with the owner from Perfect Cut tree services knowledge, calm and reassuring demeanor. He walking my property with me and rendered his advice not only about the tree that had to be removed but of the other trees in my yard that I had concerns about and reassured me there were no problems. The employees that came to removed the 90 foot oak tree were also professional and knowledgeable. If you need a company that has knowledge, honesty and professional employees, then you have found the right business..

Terrible! Over 2 Months over due with no follow up.

Perfect Cut did another great job for me, and this was the third time I have used them. They removed approximately 15 trees for me, and we all know how difficult this can be in the Village of Montebello. Their people went "over and beyond" what I expected. They were extremely pleasant to work with and their prices seemed very reasonable.

I recently moved into the area and received a recommendation from a neighbor to use their services to take a number of trees down on my front lawn. The owner is a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. However, the people that work for him, including his sister who manages the schedule are horrible to deal with. They lack fundamental customer service skills. They changed my service date twice. And when they finally came out and cut the trees down, they left my front lawn looking like a junk yard. They took two weeks, (at the time of this writing, still have not come out) to remove the stumps. I will never use them again and regret taking the recommendation.
