Founded in 1988, Vejar Elementary School serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school offers classes in science, math, social science and reading. It also provides counseling and food services to students. Vejar Elementary School has a staff of over 30 teachers. In addition, the school has a library that includes a range of books, reference sets and resource materials. It additionally administers the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). Vejar Elementary School maintains a location in Pomona, Calif. The school is a part of the Pomona Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
