Garey High School is a college preparatory school that offers academic classes to students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers various sporting events that include bowling, hockey, wrestling, basketball, skiing, cheerleading, volleyball, swimming and cross country. It has a guidance and counseling department that provides basic assistance to students regarding scholarships, career planning, and social and mental problems. The school offers educational classes in music, English, history, foreign languages, math, science, art, social studies, and health and physical education. Garey High School has a band and orchestra club that has been providing music classes for more than 20 years. In addition, it has salsa, key, peer, resources, chess, science, film and food clubs. Garey High School is located in Pomona, Calif.
