this company was highly recommended by a close friend of mine who is also close to Bird Black! i have been trying to get a new roof, windows and siding put on my 75yr old grandmas house since march (fyi this is october)i needed to get a written estimate for a "housing repair grant" that my grandma qualified for. after calling over and over and FINALLY getting an estimate faxed to me, i have been calling and calling and leaving message after message for someone to please return my phone call JUST to tell me if they were interested in the job or should i find someone else. i understand that contractors get "screwed" with "government work" and pay (i have learned alot by having to deal with all this and have had some insight...)but if you do not want a job a simple phone call is all you need to do! i have left countless messages for this company and here it is now october and STILL no return call and nothing done. you come highly recommended...please stop letting people down

GREAT WORK!!!!! I don't know what was with that one review. but, we got a date it would be done. it was done on that date. i also never had no problem getting a hold of him.

Pros: Price, quality of materials, warranty, craftsmanshipCons: Extremely poor business skills, vague/poorly written contracts, repeated delays due to taking on too many projects, terrible communications with customer - unable to return calls within the same week, runs business with a cell phone with mediocre coverage.Conclusion; great craftsman and price but customer service and business skills are so poor they overshadow their benefits. Cannot recommend their service except to those who are on an extremely tight budget and are willing to have an open-ended contract with no start or finish dates.
