College of the Ozarks is an educational institution that focuses Christian education. The college provides a range of bachelor s programs. College of the Ozarks provides scholarships, loans and other financial aids. The college offers various athletic opportunities, such as baseball, basketball and volleyball. Founded in 1906 as School of the Ozarks, it is spread over an area of more than 900 acres. The college maintains a work force of over 150 employees. College of the Ozarks offers instruction in history, foreign languages, criminal justice, English and communication arts. The college also conducts classes in military science, nursing, music, psychology and sociology. College of the Ozarks maintains a library, as well as provides tutorial services. The college operates a student union and character camp.
