Scott is a lawyer with twenty-five years of significant and varied experience. Prior to opening the Summers Law Office, PLLC, Scott was a partner in one of the largest law firms in West Virginia. Scotts litigation experience includes the representation of individuals and companies in a variety of claims involving catastrophic injury and death; workplace injuries; premises liability; mass litigation; toxic tort; products liability; blasting cases; motor vehicle accidents; trucking accidents; medical malpractice; property damage; estate litigation; contract claims and a variety of other tort and general liability claims. In addition to his litigation work, Scott represents businesses and individuals in a variety of matters including business sales and acquisitions, employment matters, contract drafting and negotiations, estate planning, estate litigation, divorce and adoption. Scott has presented, briefed and argued several cases before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
