Established in 1982, D. J. Franzen offers a variety of trucking and refrigerated transportation services throughout the United States. It provides various dry and refrigerated nonhazardous materials freight services. D. J. Franzen maintains a fleet of company-owned tractors and refrigerated and air ride trailers and engages drivers under contract through owner-operator programs. Its subsidiary, Iowa Cold Storage, maintains a 200,000-square-foot facility and provides third-party logistics services for temperature-sensitive food products in central Iowa. D. J. Franzen also operates R & F Services, which offers a range of transportation logistics services. D. J. Franzen maintains its corporate headquarters in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
