I enrolled my son in the middle of last year (07-08) and got a few months experience at the school, and even though it was hard to be a new parent when everyone else all knew each other, I found everyone to totally be friendly and welcoming. I could have just stayed super quiet and felt "not included" if I hadn't made an effort.... but I did, and I was rewarded with meeting wonderful women who cared about the well being of all the children and who had a genuine interest in each other. I got referrals to get help for my youngest, also, who doesn't attend the school. I love this school! I can't wait for my youngest to be able to attend CPC! Some people say that there is "too much play" and not enough "academics" at Creative Play- I say, if someone thinks there should be such a high focus on academics in preschool, then they are forgetting what preschool is all about- joy of discovery & learning, which happens every day at CPC. (p.s. does anyone get refund when withdraw from preschool?)

Great experience for our son. We had been through several preschools. Due to his high level of energy, he needed a supportive and creative enviroment. At Creative Play Center we saw him thrive! Our only dissappointment was that we had not found this a year earlier- after 4 months he graduated and is now doing well in Kindergarden.The teachers were wonderful and the other parents nice. The best fun was where the dads volenteered on Saturdays- pancake breakfast, outdoor play- the works. A great place if you are looking for stimulating creativity for your child- along with some parent participation on you or your spouse's part.

I didn't like this school. The moms were not very supportive. They were a little bit snobby. This was my first and last year. They did not do a good job of welcoming me in their group. I guess because I was new and didn't want to make the effort in getting to know me. I felt very isolated. I spoke to another mom and she felt the same way. They dind't even refund her the money for the first and second month's tuition. I feel it's not a very good support group for the moms.
