I was at their Boca facility today. The closed mri is an older GE unit with no music. Old means very loud. The staff was courteous but not very friendly. The cash price of $225 is good. What else do you want? I have not seen the report and that could tell a lot more about this place. Stay tuned.

Courteous staff and clean facility in nicer area BUT they either were very misinformed about my insurance coverage of my test (they said I was not covered and made me pay the full amount but I found later that my insurance certainly DID cover the exams) or they deliberately make you pay up front so they don't have to file insurance paperwork. Also, on top of that, they told us on the phone before we arrived that our insurance was accepted. By the time we got there for the test and they wouldn't take my insurance it was too late and I had to just go thru with it and pay. A final blow was when they made me pay an extra $5 for using my credit card to pay. One small detail that hopefully will not turn out to be of any significance; the MRI machine I was on had obvious parts missing (screws in the finish). Also most MRI's I have been on have music or something to relax while being tested- these exams can take a half hour or more. All this place had was a photo mural on the ceiling.
