General Info

Having graduated from Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in 2010, Tim cultivated a passion for his craft and honed his skills by completing a rigorous apprenticeship with and working for Toni & Guy in Dallas, Texas after receiving his professional license. After learning from some of the best pros in the beauty business, Tim decided to open JTM Hair Effects in November of 2011 in Plano, Texas. Tim is accomplished in color chemistry, practical and advanced application techniques, salon artistry, and fashion while also maintaining a keen sense of real world wearability and practical application. By incorporating inspired cutting, coloring and styling techniques from recognized industry leaders such as Goldwell Professional and Aquage, he shuns the cookie cutter approach for a customized style that brings out the best in every individual. Tim remains young at heart, down to earth and open-minded. He is always innovative, always learning, and always looking to expand on his knowledge and practice of his trade.
