Mother's Day Brunch. Overpriced. Cookie cutter presentation. Food was lukewarm. One wilting flower on table. Five in group.

For lunch today I decided to do all appetizers: the Texas Crab Cakes and the TUNA+Two.

Tuna two ways was simply amazing: it's served up like "sushi" with chopsticks plus soy plus wasabi and pickled ginger but the best way to eat them (you've got to try it) is to spoon the chopped up tuna that's in the tortilla cup over a slice of the tuna and eat it in one bite. Yum!

The Crab Cakes were perfect: that green avocado sauce is the perfect accompaniment.

Sat at the bar and the bar tender was attentive without being chatty: nice touch.

Ate lunch at this restaurant 8-26-09. Reception not friendly. No bread served with over priced food. I will never go back and will advise any who ask to save their money if they are thinking about dining at jaspers in Plano

Absolutely fabulous food! My husband and I have lunch there almost every weekend. The service is superior and the food is GREAT! Be sure to try the Blue Cheese Maytag Potatoe chips as an appetizer!

Really good restaurant located in north Plano. It is a great place for a somewhat romantic date, but not so mushy that it wouldn't be appropriate for a really nice first date. Great service. Good wine menu.

Jasper's is up at Legacy Town Center and one of the best reasons to head up the Tollway. The food is delicious (don't leave without having the macaroni and cheese), the service is excellent and the bar is always hopping.

Jasper's has a really great atmosphere, and very high-quality food. They bill themselves as a sort of "backyard gourmet", what with mixing traditional American food with gourmet elements, but they're very unpretentious about it, and their meal costs are moderate. They have astonishingly cheap desserts, so they're a great place to go with a date, just for the dessert choices!
