In such instances we will remove and market all saleable items, and also remove all goods to be donated (such as mattresses, canned goods, etc.), dispose of any refuse and leave the home “broom clean”. At first I went here a lot to buy decorative pieces on the cheap. The auction going experience is disappointing because the auctioneer is stiff and humorless. She's occasionally rude to customers and frequently to her employees. The walls are a peeling 1970s orange and the seats are stained. Not bad for a provincial auction house but not the best either.
Very professional staff with breadth and depth of specialty knowledge as well as keen sense of each specialty market so as to maximize my net proceeds. Reliable. Communication is very good. I would certainly recommend to anyone - individuals, estates, businesses - for timely liquidation of antique and household property. I have been dealing with them for 30 years.
We have been going to this auction house for over 20 years. Linda Stamm and her entire staff are the most professional, friendly and knowledgeable in the business.
Their research is impeccable, their catalog descriptions extremely detailed, and their auctions are just plain fun!
