I love this store!!! And shop there often. The deli is the best. It features a wide variety of tasty dishes. They also have a great gluten-free section, organic produce, groceries and a large vitamin department. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only negative I can find is not with the store, it is with some of the rude customers that shop there.... BRAVO DR. B. WELL

Had a terrible experience and will never shop here again. He woman at the checkout treated me as if I were a nuisance to her. There are other places to shop. It's unfortunate one bad hire has so much impact

I love the products and the man who know about the vitamins but the staff is not friendly at all especially the cashier. at the food counter you wait way too long and the gentlemen are nice but the 1 women does not even acknowldege you - Need help with better staff members.

I just called to see if they had an item that they don't usually sell, and the grocer volunteered to order it for me!

The best healthfood store out there by far!! Mostly because of chef (Karen) and knowledgable nutritionist/biochemist (Peter). I have to disagree with the other review about the service and say it is good. Honestly, although I am a regular, I will say that it is the customers are the biggest pool of eccentric misfits out there and like most healthfood stores, a collection of the fussiest eaters (myself included) who must drive the staff insane. Unfortunately, many of the customers can oftentimes be egocentric, discourteous and disrespectful, possibly unknowingly. At times, I wonder how the staff keeps their composure! Anyway, I have relied in Peter for all of my health-related issues for years and BWells is the only place I eat outside my home, with the exception of a social dinner out. Thank god for this place! :)

Great place for organic and gluten/dairy free prepared foods! Organic produce is good too.Staff is always friendly and accomodating. Great place to come for recommendations on supplements for health issues.....very knowledgable. Have helped me and my family a great deal. A real gem of a place, so glad I live relatively close by.

I would shop here more often if the people behind the food counter weren't so arrogant and rude. The other day I was in there and overheard the staff making fun of some of the customers because they were "hypochondriacs" They were talking about some older person who left soon after I got there. That's not OK. It's very unprofessional. The person who does this most of this rudeness is the young woman with black hair, tattoos and basically has a scowl on her face 24/7. Hey, if you don't like your job QUIT already. It will make customers experience better and improve business. I don't feel comfortable shopping in a place where I have to interact with snotty service... It would be nice if there was a mechanical system where we can just choose which foods and a machine would measure it. Aside from that the fresh produce is fairly priced for what it is (organic etc) and the cashiers are very friendly and fast.

Great place for fresh, healthy prepared food in the deli dept. Perfect for those on gluten and dairy free diets or with food allergies. I don't know what I'd do without them!!

I wish there were more places like Dr B Wells instead of Dunkin Donuts which are now practically on every corner in Long Island for example. Yes SOME products are a bit more expensive but what is the alternative? Buying online and waiting for shipment or entering the crowded human zoo aka Fairway (one of the few other places that offer organic produce). I'll admit the fresh green juices take too long and aren't the best quality (much better to buy your own juicer) but can serve as a gentle initiation to juicing. The prepared foods are delicious, sometimes a bit too salty or vinegary but still good and even inspiring. On some days, you will also find offerings like freshly cooked wild salmon at jaw dropping low prices. It's true, the younger staff aren't very professional nor the most hygienic (regarding juicing in particular) and a bit annoying at times but it doesn't diminish the impressive selection of exotic and staple organic raw foods that make this place a real gem. Great place.

The store is good but has big problems. First, it is VERY inconsistent with the items it carries. Often I go to get something and they're out of it. Second, VERY overpriced.

The store is a much appreciated source of gluten-free and organic food items. And the GF selections prepared by the deli are some of the best I have ever tasted. I no longer live in the area but am there for every holiday and B Well is my first stop from the airport. I plan my Thanksgiving around their amazing GF stuffing !!
