I felt like the deer I brought in to have processed yielded significantly less meat than expected. Talking with other hunters when dropping the deer off, opinions were similar. Prices are much higher than other places I've used for processing, 3 dollars a pound for Sausage with 125 dollars for basic processing. The owner seemed to have an attitude, called a back up number after I made arrangements to pick up the deer, demands cash and will only hold meat for 48 hours. When I went to pick up the processed meat the store wasn't open at 10:30 (the store opens at 10:00.) We tried him on a whim after our normal processor closed shop...
