Central Elementary School is a coeducational facility that serves students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers regular classes in mathematics, writing, reading and science. The school also offers various special education classes. The school has a media center that provides a collection of fiction, nonfiction and reference books. The media center also hosts numerous special events. Central Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that coordinates conferences, family nights and other celebrations and events. The school is a part of the Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202, which includes Charles Reed Elementary School, Grand Prairie Elementary School and Plainfield East High School. Central Elementary School is based in Plainfield, Ill.
