Berkshire Medical Center is a nonprofit, 302-bed community medical hospital that offers a range of patient-centered care services. Located in Pittsfield, Mass., the hospital serves residents of Berkshire County, Mass., and various communities in eastern New York, northwest Connecticut and southwest Vermont. Berkshire Medical Center specializes in anesthesiology, dentistry, family and internal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, psychiatry, radiation oncology, radiology, substance abuse and cardiac rehabilitation. It also operates a diagnostic imaging department that offers 24-hour services related to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, Xray and mammography.
