After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, he has worked at some of Pittsburgh's finest private country clubs. He has hired and trained kitchen staffs, purchased food products, implemented new menus, directed dinner service and catering events up to 2, 000 people!In addition to fine dining, Dan also has experience in corporate dining. As the Executive Chef for Highmark Blue Cross in downtown Pittsburgh, he oversaw a large staff that provided business dining for over 1, 000 employees daily! He has also worked with the Dr. Dean Ornish & the HOPE program. These specialized diets include low fat vegetarian and high calcium options for patients looking for the medical benefits they provide.Dan has owned and operated Waterfall Caf in Building One of the Penn Center West Complex since 2006.
