Sean came out and gave me an estimate for a small roof repair on February 4th, 2015. The total cost of the job was to be $600. I paid him a $300 deposit so he could purchase materials. The job was to begin on February 7th. He called me on February 6th to let me know the material wasn't coming in on time, and he would start in a few days. It's now March 9, and after a month of no progress on the roof, I finally requested my deposit back. When I requested the deposit, Sean began to yell and swear at me on the phone, telling me I was out of line for asking to be refunded. He eventually agreed to pay it back and told me he'd have it to me by March 6. When I tried to contact him on March 6, he didn't answer his phone. I reached out again on March 7, and again no answer. I finally got in touch with him on March 9, and he toldm me he couldn't pay me back. Now I'm forced to take the matter to small claims court. Do NOT use this company. Learn from my mistake. They are dishonest and unprofessional and I'll be filing a formal complaint with the Department of Labor and Industry.



UPDATE:



Its now been almost 2 1/2 months and Sean has still not refunded my deposit. In fact, he's even taken it a step further. After I wrote my first review, he's threatened to take me to court for writing a negative review, even though everything I wrote is 100% truthful. He took a deposit, never started the job, and has not issued a refund. All I have done is ask for my money back, and he rants and raves, berates me, swears at me and threatens legal action. Its like dealing with a 5 year old. Truly one of the worst interactions I've ever had with a subcontractor, and I've been in the home building business 10+ years. Just stay away!

Sean and the SaraCo Roofing crew as I like to call them just finished our game room.I'm not big on writing reviews,this is actually my second one. I am just so impressed that I felt that I should voice myself. Our game room turned out better than we could have imagined, Sean is very polite and along with Sean, his employees are very professional. The game room was finished exactly when he said it was, which I didn't think it would be,because Sean had to take off a couple days cause of a personal matter.However his guys showed up everyday ontime and just did amazing work.It was just a true pleasure to have such a great crew of men that I could actually trust around my home, and know that my hard earned money is being spent wisely. Sean and the SaraCo crew did a roof for me not long ago, but then it was just Sean, his brother and a friend I believe. Of course Sean did a great job putting our roof on for a great price, or we would have shopped around a bit more than we did for our game room. To watch Sean put a roof on is amazing, as in how fast he puts it on. I would recommend Sean and the SaraCo crew to anyone looking to have home improvements.
