The organization annually serves more than 30,000 students of over 30 colleges and universities. Its areas of specialization include life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and information and communication technology. The Pittsburgh Regional Alliance provides economic development services for businesses that include individualized project management plans, site selection, financial assistance, and market research and analysis. It also offers information on arts and culture, retail centers, sport events, and adventure and outdoor activities in Pittsburgh.
