The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, also known as HACP, is a municipal corporation. It provides a range of housing opportunities for low-income individuals and families. The authority serves more than 20,000 individuals and manages over 4,500 public housing units. It also operates communications, development, finance, legal, human resources and occupancy departments. The authority provides resident employment and scholarship programs. The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh maintains an on-site technology and learning center. It additionally serves senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.
