Founded in 1936, Pennsylvania Economy League of Southwestern Pennsylvania works to promote economic development in Pennsylvania. It is the research affiliate of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, which specializes in research and analysis. The league specializes in the planning and execution of Pennsylvania s constitutional convention through a preparatory committee. Pennsylvania Economy League of Southwestern Pennsylvania maintains a network of private leadership to identify problems and opportunities in the region. It works in partnership with government business and civic groups and develops consensus on programs and solutions for the improvement of quality of life.
