Monark Student Transportation and its affiliated companies BlueBird Bus Sales of Pittsburgh, Qualistar Tours and Qualimark Fleet Services are all dedicated to the transportation industry in western Pennsylvania. The company offers a complete transportation package that includes fleet management and transportation for extra-curricular activities, field trips and special needs students. Its fleet includes vehicles from nine-passenger, multifunctional school vehicles to 84-passenger school buses. Monark utilizes a state-of-the-art computerized routing system to develop the most efficient and economical schedules possible. All of its drivers are supplied with Nextell radios for instant communications to dispatch and are required to attend a minimum of six mandatory safety meetings each school year.
