      General Info
      The Department of Housing and Urban Development s Office of Public Housing offers residential support services for individuals with disabilities, as well as senior citizens. The office also provides a range of rental housing solutions for low-income families. It maintains a variety of single-family residential units and apartments. The Department of Housing and Urban Development s Office of Public Housing s Demo/Dispo program helps to eliminate run-down public houses. The department also operates the Capital Fund, which aids housing authorities to modernize public residential units. In addition, the Department of Housing and Urban Development s Office of Public Housing administers the Moving to Work Demonstration program.
