Zimmerman Company, founded in 1922 and based in Pittsburgh, is one of the largest suppliers of packaged paint thinners, paint solvents, paint removers, wood finishes, sealers, fuels and acids in the United States. The company sells exclusively to the wholesale trade, and its products are packaged under the E-Z label. The company offers a range of solvents, such as high-solvency acetone, denatured solvent alcohol, epoxy solvent, lead-free Japan drier, lacquer thinner, lacquer retarder, methyl ethyl ketone and mineral spirits. It also offers fuels, including camping fuel, charcoal lighter and K-1 kerosene. Additionally, it offers oils, such as tung oil finish, lemon oil for furniture treatment, and raw linseed and boiled linseed oil. E. E. Zimmerman Company also offers a variety of soaps, such as pine oil soaps, range and golf ball cleaners, and supreme range and golf ball cleaners.
