      Electronic Checkpoints: Calwest Private Security, Inc., is proud to use as part of their quality control process, and electronic Guard Tour System called "Deggy" which is used to measure security officers performance in patrol of our client property. "Pen" is essentially a small computer with a built in clock and has memory to register the "Deggy Hits" performed by the security officer or field supervisor. Calwest installs "Deggy Buttons", (small silver metallic discs that encase a small micro chip with an electronic serial number), at designated locations on our clients property. At specific time increments, the security officer touches a "Deggy Button" with the "Deggy Wand", and the serial number is recorded along with the location, current date and time. This information is then downloaded and sorted by a central computer once a week. Individual reports are then printed and can be sent to our clients for their review or at the billing cycle with their invoice.

      Guard Services: Calwest Private Security employs officers who exhibit a professional attitude, good work habits, trustworthiness and are dependable. Officers go through a rigid employee screening process that involves finger printing, interviews with former employers and personal references; a background investigation including California State Guard License status, DMV report and a FBI criminal background check. Our Field Supervisors take an active part in the assigning the proper Officer for your location, taking into account their training, experience, and special skills or certifications you may require such as a bilingual or armed officer. To increase our effectiveness in protecting you and your property each Officer is supplied with a digital, two-way radio for the immediate dispatch of local law enforcement, paramedics, fire and facilities maintenance personnel.
