I've been planning on remodeling my Moms bathroom for the past year for her birthday gift. I stopped in Stelton Cabinet & Supply to check out the vanities in the showroom. I was impressed by the beautiful selections available as well as the quality. I told her I would be back to make a selection and a year later we finalized the sale. My husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen. We had contacted several businesses and a box chain. The task seemed confusing and daunting. All the decisions. What kind of cabinets, choice of counter tops, the layout. Most of the businesses were telling us to plan for at least six weeks without a kitchen. We thought how are we going to be able to do this. We decided to try to plan for a summer remodel.
After looking on the internet and seeing the good reviews for Stelton Cabinets we decided to give them a call. From our first contact with them, they were helpful and friendly. My husband had setup a date to sit down and discuss the layout for the kitchen. They asked me to drop off some basic measurements and to bring pictures of my current kitchen. I stopped by after work one day prior to our appointment Luckily for me, all the owners were there. Anthony and his father, Bob, looked over my measurements and sketched out some ideas. Anthony showed me different types of cabinets and counter tops. I told them some of my ideas for my kitchen. They gave me some options to think about for our appointment on Saturday. They were so helpful and friendly and made me feel comfortable. I knew I could work with them.
At our Saturday appointment, Anthony had proposed a design. He sat with us for more than an hour and went through the design. We discussed our budget and he went over initial costs. He gave us a price range so we knew what cabinets were in our budget while we looked through the samples in the shop. Kathy, another owner, was helpful in directing us about the different style of cabinet doors. We were also told that the project would be about 2 ½ to 3 weeks barring any major complications. I was surprised to hear this considering other places were saying at least six to eight weeks that I wouldn’t have use of my kitchen. Anthony explained that a crew is committed to working on our project until its completed. We felt very comfortable working with Anthony, Bob and Kathy. They did not pressure you into a decision. We liked that this was a family business and that they stood behind their work. We gave them a deposit and had Anthony and Bob come to the house for official measurements of the kitchen.
As we prepared to do the kitchen, we had several more appointments with Anthony to go over design ideas. Anthony went over the contract with us. Everything from soup to nuts was included so there weren’t any hidden costs. Anthony had already factored some cabinet pull-out draws for the pantry, modeling and baseboards which seemed to be extra add- ons when dealing with other vendors. Once we signed the final contract, Bob also talked to us about the costs of granite versus quartz. At that time, the cost of granite was running less than quartz. Bob gave us the name of two local vendors to look at for granite. The vendor we chose was very helpful with selecting the granite piece and helping us match it with the cabinets and flooring.
We were frequent visitors at Stelton Cabinets before our remodel to pick out everything. With Kathy’s experience in the business, she assisted us with picking out the cabinets, flooring, subway tile, door handles and faucet. She also gave suggestions of which things might work well together.
The project date was set for mid- July. Anthony kept us posted on the exact start date. Once the project got started, Anthony tried to set things up so we could use the refrigerator in the kitchen as long as possible and then we moved it to the garage. He also set up a place for us to use a small microwave and coffee maker in the kitchen. The crew kept the area very clean. They cleaned up after themselves each day. Anthony had my cabinets, the new stove and refrigerator hooked up back in the kitchen in two weeks. We had to wait a week to put the sink in because the counters had to be measured for the granite. Stelton Cabinets in Piscataway just finished a complete kitchen renovation at our home and we are completely satisfied. We selected semi-custom cabinets that are manufactured in New Jersey from a wide choice of styles and colors. Bob and Anthony provided a beautiful design which added the additional counter and cabinet space we needed in our relatively small kitchen. Kathy helped us select complimentary colors for the quartz countertops, flooring and tile backsplash. During the installation Anthony and his crew fulfilled every commitment that had been made and his attention to detail and great work ethic made the whole experience very rewarding.

After Stelton Cabinet's great renovation of my Mom's two full bathrooms, I asked them about my first floor renovation. It was great working with Bob, Kathy, and Anthony and their team. I am so happy with the first floor renovation. I now have a great new fabulous kitchen, half bath, and great room. They worked with me choosing the cabinets and flooring, and equipment. I love it all. It all came together so nicely. Better than I could have imagined. Once they started the renovation, they continuously worked until it was complete. They cleaned up after themselves every day. As the renovation progressed, we worked through changes as needed and took care of any of my additional requests. Firstly we had a wonderful experience with the family on all aspects of our new kitchen - from design and cabinetry choice to installation and details. They are a great family-owned business with lots of patience and experience! We ripped out our kitchen and took down a wall to open up the space. Anthony and his coworkers were careful and considerate during the construction phase. They tolerated our overfriendly dogs very well! Anthony designed a simple but lovely tile design above the stove which accents the rest of the subway tiles beautifully. He also build a custom column on a corner which complements the cabinetry.Also the molding details are gorgeous along the cabinets above and beneath. We started our design in December and it took a few meetings to fine tune it. But it's worth the time you put into this so you get exactly what you want. Our kitchen is completely different from its original form. We can't say enough how great Stelton Cabinets was to work with. The materials are first quality and the people are fantastic!We recommend this business without hesitation!

Bob and Anthony remodeled my kitchen and they did a fabulous job. The design and installation leaves me with more storage and floor space in a small kitchen. They are an honest and conscientious team. They responded to phone calls usually the same day. They provided suggestions. I got the kitchen that was agreed upon in the time that was promised. I'll be back to Stelton Cabinet when it comes time to remodel the bathroom.

Stelton did my kitchen 12 years ago and my bathroom recently. What do I love about Stelton? Not only do they do an amazing installation, but they help me pick everything out so that nothing is overwhelming. This is a family owned business which has a lot of experience in remodeling kitchens. They were recommended to us by a family member who had had their kitchen remodeled recently. We thought so highly of the workmanship that we visited Stelton Cabinets in Piscataway and made plans to have our kitchen remodeled by this company. Kathy, Bob and Anthony were very helpful and they gave us many useful suggestions on how to best utilize our kitchen space to its fullest potential!!! They did the demolition and removal of our old cabinets and flooring and did all of the work from the electrical work to the installation of the flooring, cabinets, plumbing, new countertops, sheetrock, framing, etc. They worked efficiently and neatly, making sure to clean up after themselves at the end of the day and have their tools put away till they came back the next day to resume work. I can't compliment their professionalism any more highly, they knew exactly how to get the job done quickly and efficiently!! Our new kitchen maximizes the space available in the most efficient way possible, the cabinets are beautiful and and it was well worth the time it took to remodel the kitchen which was surprising short considering that it could have taken months. The whole job took under a month's time from start to finish with minimum disruption to our home! The family team at Stelton Cabinet did a tremendous job helping us to renovate and update our master bathroom. Anthony built an amazing custom shower with a bench, handheld shower head, rainhead, detailed tile work, and custom niches for shampoo/soap. We love it. Bob added framed mirrors and detailed wood accents along with custom vanities. Kathy helped us pull the colors together, and her advice was priceless. Excellent quality and excellent service.

Stelton Cabinet installed a beautiful new kitchen for us years ago. So when we needed custom bookcases for a new addition they were the first ones we consulted. Kathy, Bob, and Anthony provided excellent design advice on the best and most cost-efficient options and patiently guided us through the entire process. The bookcases have just been installed and they fit perfectly and are extremely well-built. But the custom finish trim provided by Anthony, Bob, and their crew turned the basic job into a work of art. Other building tradesmen that worked on the addition have seen their work and have been very impressed also. We came upon Stelton Cabinets by accident as we drove around but both my wife and I are so glad we stopped. Kathy assisted us in the selection on all our powder-room needs (cabinets, tiles, countertop, mirror, etc). She has a keen eye on what matches and looks good and is very personable, as is her husband, Bob and son, Anthony. Our bathroom looks great and we have received many compliments.
