Clem's Ornamental Iron Works is New Jersey s largest manufacturer of ornamental aluminum and iron architectural products. From modest beginnings in New Jersey in 1956, Clem's now services all of its clients through a large manufacturing headquarters facility and a separate walk-in retail design center -- clients ranging from large scale multi-story commercial real estate developers all the way through single family residential accounts. Horrible Service. I ordered a gate and was told it would take 6-8 weeks. 12 weeks later after being given the runaround for weeks, the gate finally came. It didn't fit and of course had to be taken out. I was then told it would only take 2 weeks to finish. That 2 weeks turned into another month. Finally after 4.5 months after my initial order, the gate was installed. One week later, the lock on the gate broke. I called and was told it would take a week. 5 weeks later, after many phone calls on my part, they finally tell me the lock is in and ready to be installed. This was the worst experience ever. I would never recommend this company. It seems they ony react when you make a big stink!! Did I mention they ran my credit card for the final payment without authorization even before the gate was installed??? Incredible!! They don't have to worry about my repeat business.
