Pineville High School offers a range of educational programs to students in grades nine through 12. It was founded in 1952 and is located in Pineville, La. The school offers various departments, including art, business, English, family science, foreign languages, mathematics, dance, physical education, science, social studies and special education. The performing arts department provides various activities, such as band, orchestra and choir. The theater department offers several technical styles, including scene study, acting, script analysis, computer applications, stagecraft and playwright. The school s visual arts department offers classes in painting, drawing, design, printmaking, sculpture and computer graphics. Its sports department offers various sports that includes cross country, track, golf, swimming, tennis, football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, powerlifting and cheerleading.
