J.I. Barron Sr. Elementary School offers a variety of learning and recreational opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten though grade five. The school maintains a work force of more than 50 employees, including teachers, paraprofessional and support staff members. It has a library that stocks several fiction, nonfiction and course books and other reading and reference materials. J.I. Barron Sr. Elementary School has a cafeteria that provides various types of food items for lunch. The school has a parent-teacher organization that encourages the participation of parents in several school activities. J.I.
