Located in Miami, Temple Beth Am is a religious school offering classes from prekindergarten through grade 12. Its curriculum includes Hebrew reading, a beginning history of Israel, modern day life in Israel, the concept of prayer and an introduction to God-talk; and familiarity with Jewish terms such as Shabbat, Torah, Tzedakah and Mitzvot. It also teaches to decode the letters and vowels in the Alef Bet, Bible stories, an introductory classes for people who work in a synagogue, special ritual objects and intensive study of the holidays of Purim, Chanukah and Tu B'shvat. It offers various services, such as Shabbat, healing, Tot Shabbat and Minyan services.
