Schannon Gumz at Rocky Mountain Autohaus is the kind of good-hearted, dedicated mechanic you dream about having down the street. Exceeding all expectations, he recently went above and beyond to help me out when my truck broke down and left me in a bind. While hauling a camper up 285 near Aspen Park, my truck developed a nasty engine knock that forced me to leave it on the side of the highway. I called a mechanic nearby and explained the problem. I was told that the shop would not be able to help me unless I found a way to unload my camper somewhere first, and that there was no way the repair bill for my engine would be less than $3,500.
