Questioning whether or know he actually knows what he is doing. A patient of his was started out on the max dose of a medication to control glucose. Glucose was barely abnormal (around 140-160) She was never told to try to manage glucose of her own. Never told to just monitor and chart readings. Just simply started on the max dose (the dose right before a patient is started on insulin) Does this doctor not realize a dose that high can cause a patients glucose to bottom out!? A person with reading between 140-160 can easily lower their glucose by simply changing their diet and exercising. So why was she put on such a large dose of medication? If she needed to be put on medication why not start with a lower dose? I've worked as a medical assistant for the past 3 years under a doctor who has practiced for over 50 years. When i asked him about this he looked at me and said flat out, Tell her not to take that medication. Monitor/chart. Be careful people! Especially if you're diabetic!!!

Dr. Trivitte is a caring physician in the Pikeville area. Dr. Trivitte will work earnestly to diagnose and treat his patients. When he or the patient deems necessary, he will refer them to a trusted specialist.

Trivette sent my husband to an endocrinologist, but did not send the specialist the blood work Trivette had done. When the specialist asked Trivette's office for the blood work, they delayed in sending it until after his appointment time. Meanwhile the specialist sent the patient to a hospital for DUPLICATE TESTS. Now I have to pay for the same test twice because of this doctor's negligence. So obviously I do not recommend him.
