The Blood Connection was at the Wal-Mart in Travelers Rest on August 3,2014. Chris gave water slide tickets out to non donors before the blood mobile opened. I saw him do this. Brittney the lady who did my assessment was more concerned about what was going on with her cell phone. I had to wait for her to finish texting before she called me into her "room". Then she had her phone in front of her to "keep an eye on it" while she was talking to me. Because of this I was told I could not give therefore I was refused my promised Water park tickets. If you see this Blood Connection Bus anywhere stay away from it because they don't care about you!

I usually give at this location because of the convience of time and location as well as liking the staff. However, the last two times I have given with the mobile because of it being at my church or favorite ice cream place ( and yes the "gifts" of Tee shirts or a pint of ice cream has made a difference in going to the mobile). Many times I have given at the Grove road location and came out empty handed and just feeling good about giving. But the gifts do help - especially with getting my sister to go too. (She will only go when there's freebee's).
