Founded as a producer of greases for Pennzoil and Mobil, Lubricating Specialties Company has since grown to offer services and products in seven primary areas: compounding and blending of primary commercial, automotive and industrial oils; solid grease production; production of white oil and food-grade lubricants; super-clean military oil production; deep-draft marine lubricant blending; fiber-optic gel production; and bulk terminal and warehousing services. The company offers more than 1,000 different products, including gear lubricants, transmission fluids, greases and engine oils. Lubricating Specialties Company was established in 1928 and has headquarters in Pico Rivera, Calif. Its manufacturing facilities are certified according to ISO 9002 standards.
