My name for this wonderful place is "The Bird Spa" I live in Show Low AZ. but visit family in the valley frequently and Mortisha, my Bare-eyed Cockatoo always stays at Tropic Zone. We started at the old location of Chirp & Dales when we lived in Phoenix and followed them to their new location. The absolute best place for bird shopping I have found in the 24 years that I have been owned by Mortisha and the 3 states that we have resided in. You just can't find a nicer, more caring bunch of people then the owner and the people who care for the "guests". Five stars isn't enough. Two very satisfied customers. (Mortisha and Mom)

Having been in the Tropic Zone and previous name, Chirp and Dales, I just want to say what a great store it is to go into. Along with a large variety of foods, seeds, toys and birds, it is just a fun place to visit, with all of the baby birds. I take my three birds there to have Jim do their grooming, which no one can compare with him. You know when he handles your birds, that he has years of experience behind him and that they are in good hands.
