I started Essential Family Health & Wellness with a dream to have a practice that allowed me to spend time with my patients and provide the type of care I would want...Personalized care that is attainable to all. I spent the last few years broadening my knowledge in Functional Medicine and I am continuing to learn to bring the latest in medicine to you. I have been practicing Family Medicine here in Scottsdale since 2007. I am board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. I graduated from ASU with a degree in Psychology and Biology. I received my medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and then completed my residency training at Scottsdale Healthcare. I was born in Morristown, New Jersey, but have been an Arizona resident since 1986. I am married with two children. When not in the office, you will usually find me hanging with my family and boxer boy Rocco. I love cooking, and applying nutritional science to what I prepare for my family. I enjoy gardening, shopping (bargain hunting is my favorite) and practicing Yoga and Ballet Barre. As a doctor and mom, I can relate to the challenge of trying to find balance in everyday life. I am proud to be practicing medicine and raising my children in the community that I grew up in. My philosophy as a physician is to partner with my patients to achieve optimum health and find balance in their lives. I believe in a holistic approach and incorporate my osteopathic training into my daily practice. I look forward to helping you on your journey...
