Founded in 1977, Project Exploration organizes a range of field trips to educational locations for students. It offers trips to enhance knowledge related to archaeology, oceanography, geology, space, Arizona history and architecture. Its oceanography trips include various onboard floating laboratory activities. The company conducts visits to museums, zoos, observatories and historical monuments. It offers one- and two-day trips that also include accommodations and meals. The company organizes guided nature walks, as well as conducts trips that provide information on copper mining, movie production, iceage fossils and the formation of sand dunes. In addition, Project Exploration offers trips to southern Arizona and Grand Canyon.
