Before I discuss how I choose Phoenix Engine and talk about the quality of their work let me say that they are one very honest business. I called the company to discuss a rebuild for my 1986 MC SS. Larry was very willing to talk me through the process, components they would use to rebuild my engine and an approximate cost. In fact I called several other companies and then called back, talked to Larry and asked additional questions. All were answered to my satisfaction so I choose Phoenix engine. The day I brought my engine I dropped off the engine and gave Larry a deposit. I told him I wanted to put down $500. I gave him the cash and left. After I left Phoenix Engine I made another stop to pick up parts and realized I was $200 short based on what I withdrew from the bank prior to dropping off my engine. I realized that I must have given Larry $700 instead of $500. I called and asked Larry if he still had my deposit. He did and in fact he said he paper-clipped it and hadn't even

I have had my engine here for over 4 months now. I have had to initiate every phone call. I have been told over and over just a few more weeks. I hope the quality of the rebuild is good because the service is not. If you are on a schedule forget about it!
