Phoenix Mountain Nursing Center is a locally owned and operated 120-bed facility. It is licensed for Medicare and Medicaid recipients and provides rehabilitation services and postacute care for seniors. Its facility consists of special care units, subacute center and Eden alternative. Its Eden movement includes dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, fishes, elderly adults and young children. It also includes various gardens and more than 200 house plants. Located in Phoenix, the center s special care unit offers treatment for Alzheimer s disease and dementia. Its subacute center provides special care to patients recovering from illnesses and accidents. It also offers interdisciplinary treatments, including physical, occupational and speech therapies.
