Megan Wienecke is a board certified Physician Assistant with three years of experience in a renowned neurosurgical clinic in the Southeast. In addition to her clinical background, she has expertise in clinical research participating in over 120 trials and modalities linked to Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic pain, and osteoarthritis. Prior to working in Neurosurgery, Megan worked in an outpatient child and adult psychiatry clinic. She proficiently developed as a first assist in the OR and cares for patients with intracranial hemorrhages, brain and spinal cord tumors, degenerative disc disease, spine fractures, chronic back pain and stroke. Megan is consistently motivated to provide compassionate, personalized care and is focused on ensuring patients and families are at ease from admission to discharge. She emphasizes the importance of patient education and makes sure her patient’s concerns are heard and addressed.
