Mayo Clinic uses advanced diagnostic procedures including low-dose CT scans, positron emission tomography (PET) and bone scans and robotic bronchoscopy. Treatment options include video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), wedge resection, segmental resection, lobectomy, pneumonectomy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, targeted drug therapy and immunotherapy. Clinical trials may also be an option.
