Maryvale High School offers academic programs to more than 2,600 students in grades 9 through 12. The school provides classes in English, math, physical education and social studies. It administers the English as a Second Language program. Maryvale High School operates a library that offers a variety of research materials for students and teachers. The school also provides guidance counseling services. It conducts various athletic activities that include basketball, football, soccer, tennis, and track and field. The school additionally has drama and chess clubs. Maryvale High School organizes educational sessions for parents. It is governed by the Phoenix Union High School District.
