Larry C. Kennedy Elementary School is a learning center that provides a variety of academic programs to students in kindergarten through grade eight. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, English, social studies, art, physical education, music, computer applications and language arts. The school additionally provides special education and Title I programs for gifted and talented students. It also offers language and speech therapy services for students with learning disabilities. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff members. It provides a range of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball and cheerleading. In addition, the school offers before- and after-school programs to assist students with their homework and outdoor activities.
