General Info

Kenan began his career in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. As a Hospital Corpsman he was introduced to a wide variety of medical specialties and gained a desire to learn more about the vast medical field. After receiving training as a PACU (post-anesthesia care unit) corpsman, Kenan was stationed at the Navy Medical Hospital in San Diego, CA where he provided medical support to all branches of the military. He was then stationed with the Marine Air Wing to provide clinical support for the unit. He treated many medical conditions and realized that he wanted to pursue a career in skin treatment. After completing his obligation with the Navy, Kenan attended Arizona State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He then attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where he completed a Master's degree in Medical Science. While at Midwestern University, Kenan was awarded the Outstanding Physician Assistant in Education in 2008. Kenan is a nationally certified physician assistant and is a member of many societies including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Phoenix Dermatologic Society and he is a board member of the Arizona Dermatology Physician Assistants Society. He has also completed specialized training in laser treatment through Cutera. Kenan speaks fluent Spanish and Arabic.
