Casera means home style in Spanish. The Perez family family brings their home recipes to this giant Central Phoenix family room. Food is excellent as are prices. We usually come for breakfast, enjoying huevos a la Mexicana (revuelta), Ranchero (over easy), chorizo y huevos burro (burrito to other westerners), and often, menudo.

Because I try staying on the less grain and water per pound of meat side of the food chain, I enjoy #24, chicken burro, sometimes taking half home. My mouth waters as I write these delicious words.
