Made an appointment in July from NY, my home, for an appointment on November 9th for 8:45 a.m. We winter in Apache Junction, 30 miles away. Arrived at the office 40 minutes early to be told the office was closed for the day. I was told that the office called on my cell to be informed that it would be closed, however, I know I was never called as my cell records go back to August and their number is not on the list. In other words, they lied to me. I was told I could reschedule for the week between Christmas and New years, which is nine weeks from now and a time many people are on vacation. I declined and walked out. If this is a reflection of the care I could get at this physician's hand I am no better off than I was before. I believe this behavior was unconscionable and unprofessional.
