My cat was extremely ill. He wasn't eating or drinking anything and seemed to be in constant pain. Receptionist was rude and only seemed to be informative and adamant about the care of my pet pending my finances. The vet said she'd never seen anything like it n sent us away with pain killers and antibiotics. $500 roughly to tell me nothing n get my cat pain killers. 3 days later after after force feeding antibiotics and pain killers with even worse symptoms appearing I was finally able to take my cat to his regular vet who diagnosed him being in the final terminal stages of cancer saying "...he should have been gone days ago." It was then I made the decision to have my best friend sent to heaven. I truly feel that the visit to this hospital was a terrible decision both in the final days of my cat's life and my wallet. Future pets in my life will not go here when medical attention is needed.

Last Monday evening 06/07/10, our little Yorkie Georgie was attacked by a big dog while we were on our walk. Not knowing where to take him, my wife looked in the yellow pages and found the Emergency Pet Clinic. When we got there I showed the receptionist Georgies injuries and he immedeially had a tech come and get him. The care and sensitivity shown by the entire staff was really top noch. The Vet that worked on him was just wonderful, she worked up an estimate of the cost for the treatment and explained everything in language we understood. After she finished sewing him back together and when we were able to take Georgie home she told us to follow up with our regular Vet in 3 days. This morning we took him in for the follow up. Our Vet said the Vet at the Emergency Animal Clinic really did a good job and we were very lucky that Georgie was still alive looking at the extent of his injuries. I'm very grateful for the care we received and I would recomend the Emergency Animal Clinic.

Definitely do not recommend - horrible experience. Did not communicate well. Quite honestly we knew our dog was dying, she was 12. She had a rapid heart beat, could not move, white gums. They took her in with very little consulting from us. Charged us $135.00. Did not tell us what they would do. I heard a horrible death like moan coming from her. We waited forever and were the only ones there. The vet said our dog was anemic and wanted to keep her overnight for over $500.00 for "needed further testing". Several times we said we just wanted to take her home and to our own vet. They kept stalling us. They even said this: "do you want your childrent to watch your dog die". They were lying - first they tried to make us believe they could keep her alive if we agreed to pay the extra $500 and take more testing. We did not want her to die there. Finally we got some truth. They told us she was bleeding internally. This was only when we further insisted to take her home. Beware!
