David D. Douglas, M.D., is a gastroenterologist (transplant hepatologist) with the Liver Transplant Program and Chair of the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ where he directs all solid-organ transplant activities. His primary clinical interests include therapies for chronic viral hepatitis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and hepatitis infectious disease. Specifically treatment and prevention of post transplantation recurrence of hepatitis B and C.
