I walked in and say excited the atmosphere was awesome... Then the place seemed a little unwelcoming to blacks. Then the turkey on sourdough was dry with too much lettuce.

WE LOVE CAPTAIN BILL'S!!!This is the best sub place in Phoenix. The food is fresh and the customer service is excellent. This sub joint has a unique twist in decor. Wall to wall fun, bumper stickers, collectibles, photos, and service with a smile. Did I mention the food?! EXCELLENT! PRICED RIGHT! It's a nice change from the other run of the mill sub shops. Established in 1981, Captain Bills Submarines is a quick service restaurant.
