I had my consultation with Dr. Moffitt at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialist in January 2017. This was our last chance with fertility before giving up. We had been at this for years. After 4 unsuccessful attempts of IUI, we decided to switch doctors. From the very first consultation, my husband and I felt very welcomed and comfortable with Dr. Moffitt and the entire staff at ARMS. I was assigned a RN to follow me through the entire process. Gail and I became great buddiestalking almost every other day at times during the different stages of IVF. With all of the tracking, shots, meds, ultrasounds, bloodwork, etc I NEVER felt like a patient number. I always felt like family. You get to know all of the staff from your frequent visits. Then it came down to embryo transfer day. We were so on edge and nervous praying this was going to work and make our dreams come true of having our family. Every single person was so upbeat and asking if I needed anything or how I was feeling. They had great conversations to try to get my mind off of what they knew I was obsessing about. I thought the transfer was stressful, but the next 9 days before the blood test that would determine if it worked or not was worse. Dr. Moffitt calls that day with the results himself. THEY WERE POSITIVE! A dream come true!!! The next couple follow up appointments with the ultrasounds to make sure everything was progressing properly, Dr. Moffitt performed himself. I have never felt more comfortable and part of a family than I did at ARMS. On my last appointment, Dr. Moffitt gave me a gift bag with an ARMS teddy bear, resources, gift, and handwritten card. My husband and I could never thank Dr. Moffitt, Gail, and the entire ARMS staff enough. They are true miracle workers and I cant wait for them to meet our little miracle. I would recommend ARMS to anyone and everyone.

I do not recommend this place a women who is partnered with another woman. Although Dr. Johnson is supposed to feel strongly about helping gay couples have a child, not every doctor at this place feels this way. The only woman working there, Dr. Faber, does not provide fertility services to gay couples for religious reasons. That is her personal preference, but ARMS doctors claim to work as a group, and I was shocked to discover that they shuttle patients around in such a way that most patients don't realize that at least one doctor who is a part of this group is morally opposed to inseminating a woman who is in a relationship with another woman. I had called in advance to make sure that they were gay friendly and they assured me they were - they did not, however, say that not all of their doctors feel that way. If you are a gay couple in the Phoenix area, I recommend Arizona Center for Fertility Studies instead.

I had Dr. Faber and Dr. Moffitt treat me and had amazing care. I have twin boys who are now 13. They are "Moffitt's Miracles."
I highly recommend. I search everywhere in the Phx area and they had the highest success rates.

I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Moffitt as my doctor for reproduction. I am currently pregnant with baby number 2, a frozen embryo transfer (FET). My first child was conceived through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) in 2009 at Arizona Reproductive Medicines Specialty (ARMS) here in Arizona. I choose Dr. Moffitt's practice because of his credentials and experience in reproduction. Finding out that Dr. Moffitt as well as some of his staff too has experienced issues with fertility made me feel a sense of support. I am joyed by the hugs I get everyday from my first child and happy for another addition. I also will never forget all the hugs and support I received from ARMS staff! I am ever so grateful! Dr. Moffitt is a very etiquette, respectful and educated doctor. I highly recommend ARMS for fertility.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They don't treat patients well, and have been unable to get things right for either of the two appointments I had there. They also charge more than double what many other clinics charge. Their CDC reports a fairly low live birth rate too.

Horrible patient care

We were treated like just another number. When we transferred to another clinic, we realized just how condescending, in compassionate this clinic and it's staff we're.

I still cannot believe how rud...

I still cannot believe how rude and unprofessional this clinic is. I was referred to ARMS by my OB. After having a consultation with one of the doctors, my husband and I decided to move forward with IUI. That was the last time I saw a doctor for 2 MONTHS! We did numerous diagnostic tests as well as ultrasounds. All were done by a nurse. I saw one of the nurses 3 times and she introduced herself to me each time, as if she had never seen me before. Not to mention, I never got the results of 2 of my tests. They wanted me to set up a follow up visit costing $175 to talk about the results. I payed $300 for one test alone. When I was scheduled for the actual insemination with yet another nurse, I finally stood up for myself and said I wanted to be seen by the doctor to whom I was referred to. I argued with two front desk girls and a nurse before being put on the doctor's schedule. But none of this compares to the way I was treated when I called to ask for my medical records after deciding to find a different clinic. One woman actually hung up on me after pretending she didn't know how to email me a HIPAA form. I still haven't gotten my records. I told them that they did not need to mail them, I would gladly come pick them up. They are telling me that they don't have time to print them. That I can come pick them up in 10 business days. Are you kidding me? That is two weeks. This is a very time sensitive situation. I will have to wait until my next cycle to start me new treatments. They certainly didn't expect to wait for me to pay them thousands of dollars for their services. I'm so disappointed. Take my advice, do your homework. Go to ivfreports.com and look at their success rate. I wish I had before wasting all that money. And believe me, if you are already dealing with the emotional setback of having trouble conceiving, find a clinic that actually cares, because Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists doesn't have a staff who can even pretend to care!!
